Mr. Barry is brilliant. He is speaking about important things, not just influenza, but INFLUENZA….the influences of power, of war and of social and economic crisis…how it all interrelates. I’m sharing it.

The first time I ever heard about this virus was from the Jehovah’s witness publications.

In Europe the Spanish Influenza has largely been forgotten despite being one of the worst killers in world history. This may be because the bulk of WW1 was fought in Europe and therefore overshadowed it. In my country (the UK its estimated 250,000 died in the Spanish Flu- though British Great War fatalities were close to 1 million so I think the legacy of the Spanish Flu (which effected every country on earth) varies according to how much WW1 overshadowed the flu in different nations.

In his book, Barry states that Gunnison Colorado escaped the virus. They had time to prepare. Guards allowed no one to enter the city. The city banned public gatherings and isolated itself entirely. Lawmen blocked all through roads. Train passengers going thru Gunnison were warned not to get off the train or be arrested and quarantined. Blockade runners were thrown in jail. Gunnison escaped without a death. Good lesson here for the coming plague: isolate and live.

This guy does an excellent job of explaining the Spanish Flu, better than anything I’ve ever heard or read. Thanks!

I strongly recommend against this guy’s vaccine pushing. The Nazis were big on vaccines, the communists were big on vaccines, the pharmaceutical companies are big on vaccines, and many governments are big on vaccines. All that despite the fact that vaccines are dangerous and ineffective. (And before you write anything about polio, etc., go do your research. The #1 cause of polio in the U.S. today is the vaccine; incidents of polio skyrocketed after the vaccine was introduced. Etc!)

Sounds like it should be taken seriously.
One day it may be unstoppable.
